Sensational player wants to follow his "own path" amid claims Liverpool will pay £30M signing fee

Kylian Mbappe looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain after long last especially after fresh comments he has made on his transfer future.

With his contract with the Ligue 1 club set to expire on 30 June, he has been linked with a free transfer to either Liverpool or Real Madrid although the latter remains the far likelier destination.

Now, speaking to GQ, Mbappe has said: "I'm thinking about continuing my career following my own path.

"I don't want to force things anymore."

What these comments mean exactly is open to interpretation but we'll avoid speculating on that.

There is no way to tell what the 25-year-old is alluding to for sure and with reports swirling over his future, Liverpool fans are quietly hoping that Mbappe finally seals a move to Anfield.

He's been constantly linked with the Reds ever since Liverpool's owners took him and his family on a private jet ride over Monaco in 2017.

That attempt to seduce him failed as he ultimately secured a move to PSG where he has since plundered 238 goals and 102 assists in just 285 games.

Liverpool are said to be prepared pay Mbappe a £30 million signing bonus as well as a huge salary although it will be far lower than the astronomical contract he's on in France.
