Liverpool prepared to agree huge signing bonus and ‘colossal’ salary of £30M

The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga continues as a new claim suggest Liverpool are prepared to pay the French striker a huge signing on fee and salary.

But it will not come close to matching his current terms in Paris despite the Telegraph reporting that he wants an annual salary of £65 million (€75M) - that's AFTER tax.

That's a mind-boggling £1.25 million per week (€1.4M/week).

Yeah, Liverpool aren't paying that and apparently Real Madrid won't either. If Madrid's president Florentino Perez says it's too expensive, then it really has to be.

Liverpool and Real Madrid not prepared to meet Kylian Mbappe demands

Spanish news outlet Le Figaro Sport claims that Mbappe should and will leave for personal and career reasons when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Apparently, Mbappe and "those around him" are aware that only Saudi Pro League clubs can consider paying him the same or more than he is currently earning.

At "Real Madrid and Liverpool", they are reportedly willing to to agree on paying a huge signing on fee and a "colossal" salary of around £30 million (€35M).

That should be more than enough but when you consider he's been earning that amount roughly every half-year, will he want to accept less?

Only Mbappe could answer that but that's the sacrifice he will have to make if wants to take the step up from PSG to Liverpool or Madrid.

What is the total value of Kylian Mbappe's PSG contract?

While you may know that Mbappe makes roughly around £1.1 million (€1.4M) per week, do you know how much his three-year contract extension has earned him?

He will reportedly forego his final loyalty bonus but the value of the contract stands at a whopping £541 million (€630M).

That includes a signing-on bonus worth £154 million (€180M) spread over the three years of the contract.

Even if, as per reports, he does sacrifice his final loyalty bonus, that means he will only have earned £471 million (€550M).

It doesn't matter where he goes, if he stays in Europe, he will need to take a huge pay cut and join the rest of his peers in the somewhat normal world.
