With crucial talks scheduled, club fears £336,000/week superstar will join Liverpool

Bayern Munich have planned crucial contract talks to discuss extending Leroy Sane's contract.

The German is nearing the end of his contract with the Bavarian outfit but may be unable to renew his £336,000/week terms.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City are all interested in poaching the fleet-footed forward.

Jurgen Klopp could look to replace Mohamed Salah with the German amid speculation the iconic Egyptian attacker will move to the Saudi Pro League either in 2024 or in 2025.

The report says: "Jürgen Klopp probably wants to lure him to Liverpool , while Pep Guardiola is reportedly thinking about bringing him back to Manchester City."

Talks are planned between Bayern and Sane for after the international break after which there will be more clarity on his future.

Sane is seen as the future of the German champions' team.

Bayern sports director Christoph Freund said: "He is one of the players on whom we want to build the future of the team."

That hope may be crushed if Sane instead decides to leave the club as he did in 2020 when he left Man City for a £54.8 million fee.
