Liverpool have flown to Brazil for talks with Sao Paulo centre-back Lucas Beraldo over a move to the Premier League.

The Merseysiders have scouted the 19-year-old “a number of times” and it seems they’ve seen everything they need to.

A claim from Spanish daily Diario AS now suggests Liverpool representatives have now flown to Brazil to hold talks over a move to Anfield.

Signing him will cost the Reds around £20 million and would be a great first step towards taking care of the investment needed at centre-back.
