"Plz come to Liverpool”: €39.3M target likes Instagram comment, wants Anfield move

Antonee Robinson has fuelled speculation that he could join Liverpool with his latest Instagram activity amid the Reds’ search for left-back targets as Jurgen Klopp contends with a defensive injury crisis.

Both Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas have suffered serious injuries this season. As a result, Joe Gomez has been required to fill in at left-back which he has done admirably.

The injury situation has seen increased calls for Liverpool to dip into the January transfer window, however, that looks unlikely amid suggestions from James Pearce that Klopp is happy with the players he's got and won't look to do any business this month.

All the same, Robinson has been linked with a move from Fulham to Liverpool which could happen in the summer.

Liverpool interest in signing Antonee Robinson

Liverpool have made contact with Fulham to discuss what it would take to bring him to Anfield, as per 90 Min. The source claims that the player is willing to make the move away from Craven Cottage.

After impressing against Liverpool during a 4-3 defeat at Anfield, Robinson reportedly passed his "transfer audition" with the Reds before following it up with a stellar display to hold Arsenal to a 2-1 defeat on New Years' eve.

Antonee Robinson likes comment urging him to move to Liverpool

The Fulham left-back has now added fire to the flame with his Instagram activity.

A supporter replied to his post, saying: "Plz come to Liverpool."

Surprisingly, Robinson liked the comment, sending fans online into overdrive, speculating about a possible transfer move to sign the 26-year-old American.

Robinson has arguably been the standout left-back in the Premier League this year and he perfectly fits the Liverpool transfer policy.

His contract only expires in July 2028 so agreeing on a transfer fee with Fulham will likely prove quite tricky.
