€35m ace set to be transfer-listed by furious director - Liverpool recently named as most likely destination

€35m ace set to be transfer-listed by furious director - Liverpool recently named as most likely destination

According to RMC, via Get French Football News, Lyon's sporting director Juninho is now willing to sell Houssem Aouar and others in a furious rage after a 3-0 defeat to Angers.

Liverpool are yet to sign a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum and with the clock ticking on the summer transfer window, it looks ever more likely that FSG won't bring in any more signings.

Despite a whole host of new names being linked with the Reds, Jurgen Klopp looks set to make do with Ibrahima Konate as his only new addition.

Aouar, a player linked with Liverpool constantly over the last few years, now looks like he may be on his way out of Lyon.

As recently as last month, le10sport claimed that the Reds were his most likely destination should he leave the Groupama Stadium.

They suggested that a €35m offer would be enough to convince Lyon to part ways with the Frenchman but with it looking as though the Ligue 1 club and the 23-year-old aren't exactly on great terms, a lower offer could be enough.

Liverpool beat Norwich City comfortably without their first-choice midfield trio of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago but with tougher fixtures ahead, I'm sure Jurgen Klopp would prefer not to have to call on James Milner too often.

Liverpool's success under the German manager has been founded on the squad harmony he and his coaching staff have worked tirelessly to foster.

It's why he didn't tolerate a lack of professionalism from Mamadou Sakho and Mario Balotelli and if Houssem Aouar is a bad egg, Liverpool will know.
