Romano had claimed that: “Klopp and Liverpool will consider a new midfielder if there is an opportunity on the market. I believe that Sporting Lisbon’s Matheus Nunes is a very interesting player who could be a good fit for this team, but we need to see the amount that the club will be prepared to invest.”

Anfield Central understands that Nunes is a target and that he would 'wait for Liverpool' and that Sporting have already lined up his replacement.

It seems that move is the most likely but Liverpool would have to cough up a fee of around €45M for his services.
