Priority Man Utd deal 'virtually done' as Liverpool offer rejected - to be completed imminently

Liverpool made contact with Borussia Dortmund informally to explore a deal to sign Jadon Sancho but their offer does not meet the Bundesliga club's demands.

We reported on Monday evening that Liverpool were exploring a late move for the English forward which involved paying the fee in instalments but our source was told that an agreement between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund is 'imminent.

With sources close to BVB suggesting that the deal is 'virtually done', only a crazy offer would hijack United's bid to sign the 21-year-old and Liverpool's offer was conservative, to say the least.

Sancho will reportedly earn £350,000/week at Old Trafford and Liverpool are missing out on a hugely talented player that is capable of taking Manchester United to the next level - a huge misstep from the Reds.

In all competitions this season, he got 16 goals and 20 assists and would add significant quality to the Reds.

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Dusan Vlahovic but just like with Diogo Jota and their proposed deal to sign Sancho, it will depend on whether or not Fiorentina are open to the fee being paid out over a few years.

There have been links to Patson Daka but nothing concrete as of yet but his price makes him the ideal target for Liverpool.
