Was Jude Bellingham's agent at Anfield for Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United?

Was Jude Bellingham's agent at Anfield for Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United?

Claims have been made that Jude Bellingham's agent, Mark Bennett, was at Anfield for Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United.

Liverpool are desperate to sign the English teenager and may well do this summer if recent reports are accurate.

According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Klopp is "obsessive" over Bellingham and was, at the time, making daily calls to convince him to join Liverpool over their rivals.

On social media, a claim was made by LFC Approved - a very reliable source for exclusive Liverpool news - that Jude Bellingham's agent, Mark Bennett, was in attendance.

As clarification, Bennett is not Bellingham's agent anymore. His father, Mark, now handles his affairs and was not in attendance.

Bennett is, however, a representative of Mark Bellingham's and a close friend.

Liverpool have the financial edge over their transfer rivals but ultimately, it will come down to Bellingham's decision.

Football Insider recently released a report which suggests that a deal to sign Bellingham could be threatened by the player choosing to remain at Borussia Dortmund.

This is speculation at this point but it's a major possibility. It seems likely that Bellingham will leave but he could emulate Erling Haaland in remaining at the Bundesliga club for another season.

A show was put on at Anfield on Sunday evening as Liverpool romped their fiercest rivals. Scoring seven goals without reply makes it United's joint-heaviest defeat of all time.

It was a strong message sent by the Reds and should help in their quest to rejoin the Premier League top four. Klopp's side is now three points outside the Champions League qualification places.

If Mark Bennett is truly a decisive figure in Bellingham's entourage, his presence at Anfield for one of the club's most memorable games of all time is an encouraging sign.

For now, don't read too much into it at all.
