Liverpool have angered PL club after “regular” and “insistent” contact with €18.3M player

Liverpool are interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri but he will not leave the club in January.

Teams across Europe are watching the 22-year-old closely but the "keenest interest" comes from Liverpool, French outlet le10sport claims.

Liverpool have had “regular” and “insistent” contact with the player but Wolves have “blocked” any offers for the winter transfer window and despite what offers may arrive in January, he will not be sold.

He is worth between and €14 million and €18.3 million, according to Football Transfers, but a potential move to Anfield will need to wait for the summer transfer window.

Liverpool may be in the market for a new left-back in the future with the jury still out on Kostas Tsimikas amid poor performances from the Greek international.

He has been starting in the Liverpool lineup since Andy Robertson's shoulder injury but has yet to prove he is capable of dethroning Robbo as the starting left-back.

Alphonso Davies has also been linked with joining Liverpool this month.

Bayern Munich are now listening to offers for the Canadian after the Reds "requested updates" on his future at Bayern Munich.

Signing a left-back, however, is not the priority at Liverpool with a defensive midfielder and left-sided centre-back far more important to the immediate growth of Jurgen Klopp's team.
