The mouthwatering total Jordan Henderson will earn in Saudi

Jordan Henderson is moving to the Saudi Pro League where he will link up with Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq and the mouth-watering total he will earn over three years has been revealed.

While Fabinho's move to Al-Ittihad is at risk of collapsing, Henderson's move to Saudi Arabia is set to proceed as planned with the captain having already said his goodbyes to the Liverpool squad.

While his departure complicates the midfield rebuild that is underway, it's an ideal time to sell the 33-year-old in terms of extracting as much as possible in terms of a transfer fee.

The Merseysiders will not receive a huge sum to sell him to Al-Ittihad but Henderson will be paid an extraordinary amount of money to move to Saudi.

According to the Daily Mail, Henderson will be paid a staggering £700,000-a-week which, over his three-year contract, will amount to £109m.

After passing a medical on Friday, Henderson is nearing an official announcement and now the only question left to fans is who will replace the long-term Liverpool servant.

Roy Hodgson was the manager that brought him to Anfield in 2011 and after 12 years at the club, he is now set to secure an exit.

Liverpool want to sign Romeo Lavia but after having a £37m bid rejected, as per the Athletic's David Ornstein, they are no closer to signing him.

However, they will now need to return with an improved bid or risk losing out on signing him. If this came to pass, fans would likely be irate but time will tell how this transfer develops.
