Liverpool can sign €100m Real Madrid star with "exceptional offer"

Liverpool reportedly view Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as an "ideal replacement" for Mohamed Salah amid speculation this will be his final year with the Reds.

Spanish news outlet Fichajes claims Madrid are ready to sell Rodygo should they sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG next summer.

However, it will take an "exceptional offer" in excess of €100 million to convince club president Florentino Perez to sell the young forward.

The report claims Liverpool "have included Rodrygo on their target list" while his name continues to be on the club's "discussion table."

The Brazilian was on fire for Carlo Ancelotti's side last season, scoring 19 goals and assisting 11.

30 goal contributions at 22 is incredibly impressive record and if Jurgen Klopp is to replace Salah suitably, he will need a player that is a top goalscorer and an elite creative talent.

Last season, the former AS Roma attacker scored 30 goals and assisted 16 so Rodrygo still has plenty of work to catch up to the iconic Salah.

The Real Madrid star hasn't scored or assisted yet this season in five appearances so the onlooking Liverpool scouts will be hoping to see more from him if their is truth to their interest.

Despite warding off interest in the 31-year-old from the Saudi Pro League, his contract ends in 2025 so naturally there will be plenty of discussion over his career options.
