Multiple Premier League clubs “are ready to sign” Jordan Henderson

Several Premier League clubs are “ready to sign” Jordan Henderson amid claims the English midfielder wants to leave the Saudi Pro League after just six months.

Henderson left Liverpool in the summer as the long-awaited midfield rebuild started with Jurgen Klopp adding four talented players to his engine room as part of a transfer operation that cost a combined total of £145 million.

For this price, the German manager was able to sign Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch with all four proving their worth to the club.

As a result, Liverpool remain fighting for silverware in all four competitions with fans beginning to hope another quadruple charge is on the cards.

Since Henderson left the club, he has toiled for Al-Ettifaq with the Saudi outfit 7th in table.

It now seems the 31-year-old wants to return to the Premier League with his chances of playing for England at the Euros potentially at threat.

According to talkSPORT, Henderson's agent is offering him to clubs all around Europe in the hopes that he can get back to playing at the top level.

The Saudi Pro League is rated as the 17th best league in the world, according to one ranking system.

Reportedly, the former Liverpool captain has been offered to Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

Several Premier League teams “ready to sign” Henderson in January

Another report, this one from Football Insider, suggests several Premier League signs are keen to sign Henderson in the January transfer window which means we could see them return to Anfield depending on which club he joins.

He will have to take a "huge wage drop" on his reported tax-free £350,000 earnings to return to the Premier League with "multiple English top-flight sides are ready to sign Henderson this month."

It would be quite fascinating to see Hendo back in England but he certainly won't be joining the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp spoke to Henderson but he won’t be returning to Anfield

Hilariously, Klopp was asked about re-signing Henderson by a journalist.

Of course, his response was a resounding no.

"Did Hendo have a press conference and say [he wants to leave]? So it is just written?," Klopp asked the assembled journalists.

He added: “That means for me it is not existing.

"He didn't call me! We spoke actually but not about that but really nothing to say about that."
