“Immense” Premier League star willing to agree move to Liverpool - Salah struggled against him

Liverpool are looking at reinforcing their options at left-back and Fulham defender Antonee Robinson has emerged as a realistic and quality option.

The Reds have been unfortunate with injuries at the back yet again with Joel Matip ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL rupture.

At left-back, Jurgen Klopp has been robbed of both Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas. Both suffered similar injuries with Robbo dislocating his shoulder while Tsimi broke his collarbone.

Such bad luck cannot be accounted for but what Liverpool can do is use the transfer market to ensure such injuries don't interrupt the incredible run of form the Reds are in.

What's the transfer latest on Antonee Robinson to Liverpool?

Not only are Liverpool interested in signing Robinson but the player is keen on a move to Anfield.

According to 90Min, Liverpool have made contact with the Cottagers over a move to sign the the 26-year-old.

A move is being considered in January and Robinson is understandably open to swapping Craven Cottage for Anfield in what would represent a real switch of fortune.

No disrespect to Fulham but any professional would be fully ready to swap battling for mid-table for a side sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table.

Robinson has passed the Liverpool test already

When Liverpool faced Fulham, Mohamed Salah had a rare quiet game and it was down to Robinson's defensive nous.

This may be an old image but Robinson was this tight to Salah the entire game

Salah did grab an assist for Wataru Endo's winner in the 4-3 thriller against `Fulham but Robinson's stellar performance caught the eye.

According to data from Sofascore, his performance was worth of a 7.7 rating.

I would have to agree as he limited Salah to a rare 7/10. His 13 interceptions prevented the Liverpool attacker from being as free-flowing as he would normally be.

He also managed four clearances and four tackles. He was also only dribbled past once. When faced up against the iconic Mo Salah, that's quite exceptional.
