New report suggest club will now accept £30M Liverpool bid

Fluminense are ready to accept bids worth £30 million for Andre Trindade which is a boost for Liverpool.

The Reds were named as the "the best placed to close" a deal to sign the Brazil international.

Now, Football Insider reports that Liverpool have been told a £30 million bid will be accepted by Fluminense with January growing nearer and nearer.

Andre reportedly "ticks a lot of boxes" for Jurgen Klopp and after the German tried to sign him in the summer, he may finally get his man in the winter transfer window.

The 22-year-old is most needed in the defensive midfield role but he can also play on the left of a midfield three in a box to box role where he can make the most of his dribbling and accurate passing.

Above all else, signing Andre would give Klopp increased stability in his side.

Too many times this season Liverpool have been unable to control the tempo of matches without a natural no.6.

Alexis Mac Allister has done a wonderful job despite not being a defensive midfielder and while he is capable of spreading the ball around the park, he is not suited to stopping counter attacks.

If Andre joins in January, we will also soon see the best of Mac Allister when he's further forward and not worrying about defending as much.
