Liverpool to grant transfer away from England to title hero

Kostas Tsimikas has been an important squad player for Arne Slot and is a bona fide title hero at Liverpool despite his impending transfer this summer.

Leeds United are in talks to sign the defender from Anfield this summer as the replacement for Junior Firpo, who is set to leave the promoted side on a free transfer.

However, according to Daily Mail journalist Lewis Steele, the Liverpool title hero could seek a transfer away from the Premier League in a stunning twist.

He has suitors in Europe, and Valencia and Lille are mulling over offers for Tsimikas in the upcoming transfer window.

Liverpool are prepared to sell the left-back for a fee of £15m, which Leeds are happy to pay to take him to Elland Road this summer.

It remains to be seen whether his European suitors are ready to fork out such a sum for Tsimikas in the coming weeks.
