Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has a big decision to make this summer.
The Egyptian international could leave Anfield at the end of his contract. He is not the only one. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk could also follow him out of the door. Arne Slot has done a great job with the team this season. His new system and style has brought the best out of some players at the club.
Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz have had better campaigns than they had under Jurgen Klopp last year. Liverpool could end the season with a treble. The reds are top of the Premier League and could win their first trophy of the season in the League Cup final in two weeks.

Saudi Pro League clubs target record transfer

Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League since January. Liverpool rejected the bid and chose to keep Salah for the rest of the season. Multiple reports state that the 32-year old wants to remain in Europe, and compete at the highest level for a few years.
Now, Saudi clubs have moved on to another target. The Telegraph report that Saudi clubs are preparing a world record move for Vinicius Junior. The Real Madrid forward currently has two years remaining on his deal in Spain. Reports claim that clubs in the region want to make him a record transfer, surpassing the £200million fee PSG paid for Neymar in 2017.
Salah said in a recent interview with TNT Sports that he is focused on ending the season with silverware:
“If I stay in this country, I’ll think about it, but for the moment, I’m just thinking about winning the Premier League, then we’ll see at the end of the season.”
“I think it’s my best season, so far I think it’s my best season because I make the other players around me better – that’s what I feel.”
Liverpool face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Good news for Liverpool and Mohamed Salah
Saudi Pro League clubs moving for Vinicius is good news for Liverpool. In January, Mohamed Salah was the top target for most Saudi clubs. Liverpool rejected a big money offer for the forward. Al-Hilal also reportedly offered a mega financial package to sign Salah. The Saudi club wanted the 32-year old to end his Liverpool contract early and join before the Club World Cup.
Teams pulling out for Salah gives a bit of hope that he will remain at Anfield beyond this summer. The forward’s words this week have suggested that he is leaning towards staying at Liverpool. It is too early to tell, and the season is not yet over.
