Liverpool's star £131M target has played coy when speaking about his future at Borussia Dortmund amidst rumours of a move to Anfield.

Having begun the season in excellent fashion, his form has only seen the rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League intensify.

The summer window may be closed but the big hitters in Europe are all looking to make a move for the Borussia Dortmund star - who could move on next summer.

Although recently, we've seen him talk more and more about Liverpool and the latest has seen him discuss his transfer position as he gave his verdict on the situation.

Bellingham's comments on his future

Speaking to Channel 4 in the lead-up to England’s defeat in Milan, Bellingham was particularly coy about his future, which in keeping with his mature and professional personality as well as his clear respect for Dortmund.

"I try and avoid the talk, really. I just want to play well whenever I'm on the pitch. When I play for Dortmund I want to win the game, and when I play for England I want to show people what I can do.”

“It was obviously a big fee but I can't really say I ever felt the pressure. I felt pretty confident in my own ability that I could get in the team and I could play.”

“I've gained a lot of experience over the past two or so years. Played in a lot of big games. I've been really fortunate to be trusted in a lot of big moments and I think I've helped and delivered in those."

This season has begun well for the 19-year-old with three goals in 10 games so far. He's also completed 90 minutes in each of the 10 games for Dortmund so far.

He also set a new record in the Champions League earlier this month, as his goal against Manchester City saw him become the highest-scoring teenager in the competition's history.

Make that two records - as he also became the youngest-ever player to score in consecutive Champions League appearances - taking the title from Kylian Mbappe.

Set to be a big player for his country as well at the World Cup this winter, it's likely Bellingham's stock will continue to rise as Liverpool and City fight it out to sign the young star.
