Liverpool are fresh off a 2-0 win over Napoli and will hope that they can translate their winning ways in Europe to their Premier League campaign which has seen them falter majorly this season.

Jürgen Klopp's men won 5 out of 6 of their Champions League group stage games after they were shocked on the opening day of the season, losing 4-1 in Naples.

The Reds scored 17 goals in 6 games and conceded just six as they head into the Round of 16 with 15 points from a possible 18 - a perfect reaction to the first game of their European campaign.

Spurs host Liverpool in London on Sunday evening and they will fancy their chances against a Merseyside outfit that has lost three out of its last five games.

That would be poor enough form had the last two defeats not come from Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.

As things stand, Liverpool are 8 points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United and 15 behind the title race led by Arsenal.

Spurs are 10 points ahead of the Reds but their attacking injury concerns could provide a weakness for Klopp to focus his game plan on.

Tottenham injuries are a huge concern for Antonio Conte

Son Heung-min will undergo surgery to "stabilise" a fracture he suffered around his eye, a Tottenham statement reveals.

The North London outfit reports: “We can confirm that Heung-Min Son will undergo surgery to stabilise a fracture around his left eye.

“The South Korea international suffered the injury during the first half of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League victory at Olympique Marseille. Following surgery, Son will commence rehabilitation with our medical staff and we shall update supporters further in due course.”

In addition, both Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski are likely to miss the game with a calf problem and a thigh injury respectively.
