Liverpool have already made initial moves to complete deal for £103M rated superstar

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are long-term admirers of 19-year-old superstar Jude Bellingham and according to journalist Kevin Palmer, the Reds have already made initial moves to sign him next summer.

Before Liverpool's pre-season tour around Asia, Klopp said this in an interview, “He’s not on the market, so that’s the first problem with that player. Well, that’s the only problem with that player!”

Liverpool were trying to sign a midfielder this summer with Aurelien Tchouameni and Bellingham on the top of their list. However, the Reds lost out to Real Madrid for the signature of the highly-rated Frenchman. And, Borussia Dortmund weren't looking to sell Bellingham after already losing Erling Haaland this summer.

Klopp is a big fan of the youngster saying the only problem with him was he wasn't for sale, indicating how much he rates him. Liverpool also avoided signing a midfielder who wasn't the perfect fit and decided to spend €75m on Darwin Nunez instead.

Now, I am sure that Liverpool will be 100% focused on signing a new midfielder next summer with Bellingham at the top of the list. That's why the Reds are already planning to make initial moves to sign him next summer.

Agreeing on a pre-contract before the end of the season would be a major boost to this transfer saga. This transfer tactic isn't a new approach for Liverpool. They previously signed Naby Keita on a pre-contract, allowing him to play for RB Leipzig for another season.

Liverpool to face a lot of competition for his signature

Kevin Palmer also said, "There will inevitably be competition for his signature but all parties are aware Liverpool are very keen to do a seal." While speaking to BBC Radio Five Live, German journalist Raphael Honigstein revealed which clubs are in for his signature.

He said, “Clubs will be working hard in the background to get in the queue for him. Everyone will clamour for his signature – Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid. Even Chelsea for whom the idea of having one of the best English players of the next 10 years will be super appealing.”
