Bid prepared for £50M star - Liverpool can complete double transfer swoop to complete summer shopping

Liverpool have been tipped to make two new signings before the summer transfer window closes at the end of the month with a bid reportedly prepared for Santos' Marcos Leonardo.

Interest reportedly also exists in the shape of Yeremy Pino from Villarreal, who could be the perfect attacker for Jurgen Klopp.

The German already has a wealth of attacking talent and a midfield signing should be the priority in my opinion.

With Darwin Nunez signing as the Sadio Mane replacement, Liverpool's attack is only slightly weaker due to the departures of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi.

Their absence will be felt as they were both excellent backup options, contributing to a combined 21 goals last season.

Nunez on his own should be able to cover Mane's contributions but it does mean that the Reds could lack in certain games when the options off the bench aren't as deep as last season.

Liverpool preparing bid for £50M-rated Marcos Leonardo

According to Bolavip, Liverpool are "preparing" an offer worth £50M to sign Santos star Marcos Leonardo.

With the Reds already boasting a strong South American contingent with several other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking stars, adding a young Brazilian to the squad wouldn't be an issue.

The likes of Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino have been very welcoming to the likes of Thiago and Fabio Carvalho.

Santos is one for the future but he has the talent to make an impact immediately much like Carvalho is expected to this season.

Liverpool interested in Yeremy Pino from Villarreal

Another report states that the Reds are one of seven clubs vying to sign Yeremy, who has been one of the most entertaining and fluid players in La Liga over the last year.

He scored 6 goals and assisted 4 in little over 1600 minutes of league football last season.

Liverpool don't need all their forwards to be hyper-productive but what Yeremy currently lacks in output, he more than makes up for with his silky linkup play and evasive dribbling.
