Liverpool are a side always contemplating which moves they could next make in the transfer market and signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be a masterstroke.

After cancelling his contract with Rubin Kazan in March due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Georgian joined Dinamo Batumi before moving on to Napoli for a €10M-€12M fee.

Kvaratskhelia has blossomed since his move to Serie A and is already one of the most enjoyable players to watch in Europe.

Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is one of the best in the world

Trent Alexander-Arnold may have kept him under wraps for the most part when Napoli visited Anfield on Tuesday but the way he was able to fly beyond the Scouser at times was fantastic to watch.

So far from 17 appearances in all competitions, Kvaratskhelia has scored 8 and assisted 10.

Not only does he average over a goal or assist per game but the rapid forward averages a goal contribution every 69 minutes and is showing no signs of slowing down after the World Cup.

He may have only just taken the big step up to one of Europe's major leagues but Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is already one of the best players in the world and it's going to be thrilling to see how rapid and meteoric his rise truly will be.

Liverpool and Real Madrid "monitoring" Kvaratskhelia

Given Jurgen Klopp's fondness for signing players that have excelled against his team, it should be unsurprising to learn that the German has taken a fancy to Kvaratskhelia.

The 21-year-old may have only got one assist in 140 minutes of football against Liverpool but stats will not do him justice compared to if you go back and watch how well he played in both games against the Reds.

Ekrem Konur reports that Real Madrid want to sign Kvaratskhelia as a "potential" Eden Hazard replacement. Unfortunately, things have not worked out for the former Chelsea man in Spain.

The Blues and Liverpool are also monitoring the forward's situation in Naples but it stands to reason that he will not leave the club so soon after joining them.

That said, the player's intentions and ambition could play a role in determining how soon he leaves Serie A.

Napoli, however, could be the most in-form team in Europe right now and there is very little that Kvaratskhelia could gain from a transfer that he can't get exactly where he is.
