There have been murmurs of Liverpool rekindling their interest in Gordon, and according to Football Insider, they have been made aware of the price required to sign him.

It has been claimed Newcastle are likely to cash in on Gordon if Liverpool pay somewhere between £75m and £80m in the ongoing transfer window.

Champions League qualification has strengthened Newcastle’s hands, but the winger has a price, and Liverpool will have to match that.

It remains to be seen whether the Reds are willing to do business at that price point this summer.
