Liverpool will have significant funds available this summer.
After spending just £12million on Federico Chiesa this season, the team will be active this summer. The Italian was the only first team signing that played with the first team this campaign. Giorgi Mamardashvili was sent back on loan to Valencia after signing last summer.
The reds are expected to have up to £250million available for transfers when the window opens. This could increase depending on some decisions heading into the summer. It is believed that with the departure of some of the club’s biggest earners, those funds could be used in the transfer market. Three of Liverpool’s highest earners are all on expiring contracts this summer.
Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all set to leave at the end of the season. Trent is reportedly close to signing a five-year deal with Real Madrid.

Liverpool will have to pay record fee this summer

The reds are already hard at work drafting replacements in the scenario that all three players leave. Liverpool are eyeing Andrea Cambiaso and Jeremie Frimpong as replacements for Trent Alexander-Arnold. Both targets offer different qualities at right back; Frimpong has the attacking ability and goals coring instinct, while Cambiaso operates like a midfielder at fullback.
With Virgil Van Dijk also nearing the exit, Liverpool will be signing a new defender. Reports have linked the club with Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen. The 19-year old is also a target for Real Madrid.
🏴 As per @sgorio’s commentary Liverpool scouts were in attendance to watch Tyler Dibling in England’s U19 game vs Wales.
0.28 goal contributions this season.
He’s also one of the most effective dribblers in the Premier League.

According to The Telegraph, Southampton have slapped a £100million price tag on Tyler Dibling. The England youth international is a target for multiple Premier League clubs this summer. Liverpool sent scouts to watch the youngster during the international break. Tottenham and Manchester City are said to be very interested in the teenage star.
Reds will not be spending £100M on Dibling
Tyler Dibling is a great prospect, but he is far from ready to step up to Liverpool’s level in the next season. He is yet to show that he can produce in front of goal, and his strength lies in dribbling and ball carrying. The reds would be better off spending the quoted fee on other areas of the squad.
