Liverpool have made some stunning transfer moves this summer, but an England star is now in the sights of Arne Slot. The Reds manager is pushing the club towards getting their hands on this Premier League star in the upcoming transfer window.
The Merseyside giants have backed Arne Slot this summer, with Liverpool now close to spending a club-record transfer fee for Florian Wirtz, who is expected to be in England soon.
Liverpool have already confirmed Jeremie Frimpong’s arrival from Bayer Leverkusen and are advancing in talks to sign Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez in the coming days.
Slot is now directing Liverpool’s attention towards signing an England forward, whom he is a huge admirer of, and wants him in his team in the 2025/26 season.

Anthony Gordon was a whisker away from joining Liverpool last year when Newcastle United backed out of an agreement to sell him at the last minute.
The former Everton winger wants the move, and the Reds have been linked with rekindling their interest in the England star this summer.
According to TEAMTalk, Slot’s interest in getting his hands on Gordon has not faded in the last year, and he remains a big fan of the Newcastle star.
Liverpool are pondering making a fresh approach to snare the young winger away from St. James’ Park in the summer transfer window.
However, any move would be complicated as Newcastle are not under the same financial pressure to sell players after qualifying for the Champions League.
It could take as much as £80m to tempt Newcastle into selling the winger, and even then, they could choose against selling a top player to a Premier League rival this summer.
