The La Liga side are said to be exploring a move for the 28-year old. There had even been talks of a possible swap deal with midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Liverpool still want to extend Diaz’s deal, which ends in 2027.

Liverpool need quality in attack. Selling Diaz could get enough money to re-invest in a more consistent attacker.
