Liverpool star drops transfer bombshell as Real Madrid trigger shock exit

Liverpool do not want to lose any more top players following the impending exit of Trent Alexander-Arnold, but Real Madrid are plotting more raids. The Merseyside giants are worried that one more star is set to get lured away by the glitz and glamour of the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Merseyside giants are not happy about the way Real Madrid tapped up Alexander-Arnold and ultimately convinced him to leave his boyhood club for a move to the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid are also plotting a move for Alexis Mac Allister, with Xabi Alonso set to play a key role in their attempt to turn the Argentinian’s head in the coming weeks.

However, the Spanish giants have more sinister ploys in the making, and they are not going to try and stop raiding for more players in the upcoming transfer window.

The Reds are on red alert as a star player starts behaving differently

Alexander-Arnold’s move is set to become the template for Real Madrid as they push to sign one more Liverpool player with an expiring contract.

Real Madrid have already encouraged Ibrahima Konate to run down his contract and join them on a free transfer next year.

Liverpool were already worried that the Frenchman had his head turned by interest from hometown club Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the next transfer window.

However, according to Marca, they are now worried that Konate is following the footsteps of Alexander-Arnold when it comes to contract negotiations.

There has been no meaningful progress in talks over a new deal, and the defender has already rejected multiple offers from the Reds.

The Liverpool hierarchy are angry at the way Konate’s agents have behaved during negotiations, and they are afraid the defender will now run down his contract.
