Liverpool are set to break their spending records this summer after winning the Premier League, but the club still have a few surprises in store. The Reds are on the verge of securing a deal to sign a young goalkeeper who has drawn comparisons with Alisson Becker.
The Merseyside giants are almost certain to pay a Premier League-record fee for Florian Wirtz and are still hoping to sign Alexander Isak, who is likely to cost £120m.
Their goalkeeping department is set to undergo a reshuffle this summer, with Caoimhin Kelleher joining Brentford and Giorgi Mamardashvili joining the squad in pre-season.
However, Liverpool are not done shopping for goalkeepers, and a young shot-stopper is on the verge of completing a move to Merseyside in the ongoing transfer window.

Alisson is set to be number one next season as well, with Mamardashvili expected to be his number 2 and his eventual successor at Anfield.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are set to sign another young goalkeeper who is seen as the next big thing in European football.
It has been claimed that Armin Pecsi has agreed to join Liverpool, and the club are now in talks with Puskas Akademia to sign the 20-year-old goalkeeper.
The Hungarian club are set to bag a club-record fee from Pecsi’s departure in the ongoing transfer window, and the two clubs are now finalising the details of the agreement.
The 20-year-old made 30 league appearances last season and even featured in the Europa Conference League qualifiers for the Hungarian side.
Pecsi is rated highly in Hungary and has five caps to his name for their Under-21 side.
Liverpool have a plan for him and believe he has the talent to make it on Merseyside.
