Liverpool have shown ambition in the market after winning the Premier League title last season. The club are making progress in several deals, and the Reds are now on the verge of securing an agreement for a top star’s signature next week.
The Merseyside giants have been working on a deal to sign Bayern Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, which has grabbed all the headlines in the ongoing transfer window.
However, Liverpool have already signed Jeremie Frimpong from the German club to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, and are pushing forward on several other deals.
The Reds are now working towards getting another deal over the line, and Liverpool are set to add one more player to their squad that won the Premier League last season.

Milos Kerkez is expected to join Liverpool this summer, but the negotiations with Bournemouth have dragged on for days.
The defender has agreed personal terms on a contract with Liverpool and has signed off on a summer switch to Anfield ahead of next season.
However, despite suggestions that there is now a broad agreement in place between the two clubs for Kerkez’s transfer to Merseyside this summer, no deal has been agreed yet.
According to inews, the negotiations between the two clubs are set to drag into next week as there are several unresolved issues between them.
Bournemouth are not prepared to lower their £45m asking price, and are driving a hard bargain in negotiations with Liverpool.
Ricard Hughes is leading the negotiations, and Kerkez’s camp are confident that an agreement will be reached between the two clubs.
However, it will drag into next week as the defender patiently waits to complete his dream move this summer.
