Liverpool prepare massive bid for a Barcelona star

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo has emerged as the top target for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
The centre-back is having a stellar season in a Barcelona side who are the favourites to win the Champions League and La Liga this season.
However, Liverpool want to snare the Uruguayan away from the Nou Camp and are ready to offer Barcelona a massive sum of €100m for Araujo in the summer transfer window.
The Catalan giants do not want to sell the centre-back, but a bid of that size will definitely make them think, especially because of their financial issues.
Araujo is happy at Barcelona, but is open to the idea of taking up a new challenge in the Premier League at a club of Liverpool’s stature.
For now, no decision has been made, but things could move quickly in the summer if Liverpool table a big offer for him.
