Liverpool close in on Premier League star

A lot has been said about the situation of Liverpool’s future at right back. With Trent Alexander-Arnold on his way out of the club, the reds have a decision to make. The club could possibly dip into the market for a new right back, with Jeremie Frimpong said to be a top target. In recent days, there have been discussions within the club that suggest Liverpool could move forward with Conor Bradley as the starter.
Left back will also be an area the club need to address. Andrew Robertson has been showing signs of a decline in recent seasons. Konstantinos Tsimikas has yet to show that he is ready to be the starter next season. With Robertson’s contract set to expire next summer, a successor will be needed.
TBR Football have reported that Liverpool have opened talks with Bournemouth over Milos Kerkez. The Hungarian international has caught the eye of multiple clubs this season. He is rumoured to be very interested in a move to Anfield. His agent has already mentioned that Kerkez could move to a bigger club this summer:
“I think he’s ready to go to a higher level club [than Bournemouth],”
“If he wants to go to Liverpool, he will go to Liverpool.
“I mean he has everything. I think he can’t be in the top five left-backs around the world if he plays at a smaller club.
“So it depends on his next transfer. How many minutes will he play there and how well will he play there?”
Kerkez has two goals and four assists in the Premier League this season. The report has indicated that Bournemouth will be looking for a £50million transfer fee.
