Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has already gone to work on several potential deals even before the end of the season. However, it seems he and his recruitment department have taken a definitive decision on a certain target ahead of the summer.
Arne Slot has delivered the Premier League title in his first season at Anfield, and now wants the club to back his vision for the squad ahead of the summer window.
The Liverpool manager wants to bring in reinforcements for several key areas, but right-back is a concern due to the impending departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold at the end of the season.
Liverpool have been looking at several targets ahead of the summer transfer, but a key decision has been made about a certain player they have been keeping tabs on.
Can you name the team Liverpool signed these players from?
The Reds take a definitive decision on a key target

Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremi Frimpong has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield since it emerged that Alexander-Arnold would be moving on.
The club have held talks with his representatives, and a £30m release clause makes it a relatively straightforward deal to complete for the Reds.
However, according to Football Insider, Liverpool have done a U-turn on wanting to sign the Frenchman in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Reds have rejected the chance to sign Frimpong in the summer and will consider other alternatives.
He has largely played a wing-back at Leverkusen, and all his success in Germany has come playing in that particularly attacking position.
Liverpool have serious concerns over his defensive abilities, which would be needed at Anfield as Slot would continue to play a back-four next season.
Frimpong or any other attacking wing-back is not expected to join Liverpool, who are even entertaining playing Wataru Endo at right-back.
