Liverpool are going into the summer transfer window with uncertainties over the futures of several players. While the club are plotting to sell a few in the coming months, they are undecided on the fate of certain stars ahead of the end of the season.
Arne Slot wants major surgery on the squad in the summer, and the owners are prepared to back his vision with funds for as many as five new signings.
However, sporting director Richard Hughes has to find ways to sell several established stars, and as many as ten players could end up moving on from Anfield.
The club are still undecided on certain players ahead of the summer, and one such title hero has opened up about his future at the club ahead of the end of the season.

Top Reds star opens up on chatter around a new contract

Liverpool are in talks with several players over new deals, and their future at the club is tied to the fate of those conversations in the coming weeks.
Luis Diaz has two years left on his contract, but negotiations over a new deal have started between the club and his representatives.
Saudi Pro League clubs have their eyes on Diaz, but Arne Slot does not want to lose him, given his contribution to their league title success this season.
Diaz stressed that he is happy at the club, but indicated that the fate of his new contract and his future will depend on what Liverpool have to offer.
“Yes, happy. From the first day I arrived, I’ve always been happy, calm, enjoying the football played at this great team”, he was quoted as saying by Caracol Radio.
“We’ll be talking about it, we’ll talk about it [about the renewal].
“For me, I would stay however many years it takes; it also depends on the club, everything. These are details that are sorted out separately. Very calm, I’m happy and enjoying the Premier League.”
He is not one of the highest-paid players in the squad, and wants his new contract to reflect his importance in the team.
