Liverpool have reportedly enquired about signing Pedro Neto from Wolves this summer but will need to pay a huge fee, according to 90Min.
Sean Walsh reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers are willing to sell any of their players this summer but that someone like Neto will only be sold at a premium price.
That said, they are not actively looking to push their best players through the exit door and 90Min reports that Liverpool, Juventus and Spurs have all made enquiries for Neto but will not consider a sale unless a ‘huge offer’ comes in.
The Reds were first linked with the Portuguese forward at the beginning of July by Goal’s Neil Jones, who said Jurgen Klopp is also an admirer of Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.

Crucially, Jones, who is regarded as one of the most trusted sources for Liverpool transfers and general news, wrote: “There will certainly be no deal for the latter this summer, on account of the serious knee injury the 22-year-old suffered back in April.”
Neto fractured his patella, a nasty injury that ruled him out for the final month and a half of the season and if I were a betting man, I wouldn’t put any money on Liverpool signing the 21-year-old this summer.
That said, if Liverpool defied logic and went in for the tricky winger this summer, they could put their healthy relationship with Wolves to good use.

They signed Diogo Jota last summer for a fee in the region of £45million and crucially, agreed to pay it off over a number of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic adversely affecting the club’s finances.
Agreeing on a similar deal for Neto would be another Michael Edwards masterclass but while Neto is a very talented player, he got just 5 goals and 6 assists before his injury so it would be interesting to see what Wolves consider to be a ‘huge’ offer.
If it’s anything higher than the £25million that PSV Eindhoven want for Donyell Malen, the Reds would be better served sticking with their interest in the Dutchman as he has proven to be a huge talent and is more versatile.
