Liverpool have reportedly submitted a lucrative deal to sign Saul Niguez, a report from AS explains

While there is no reason to panic, with just over three weeks until the start of the 2021 Premier League season, the pressure is on to get transfers over the line.

Liverpool really only need to sign a striker and a central midfielder so but they need to invest in quality so their work is cut out for them.

A report from Spanish news outlet AS reports that Premier League clubs have made lucrative offers to sign Saul.

As fellow Liverpool site Paisley Gates has pointed out, Jurgen Klopp’s side has not been mentioned by name but we know the Reds have moved for the Spanish midfielder.

Salary Sport reports that Saul earns an incredible weekly wage of around £207,000 and while it seems unlikely that Liverpool would be willing to match that, the Reds wouldn’t make a bid if they weren’t under the impression he’d be willing to agree personal terms.

Liverpool have already made a €40million plus bonuses bid but Atletico Madrid rejected that and are holding out for a €50million all-cash offer and a claim was made that if the Reds improve their offer they could sign Saul.

Signing Saul would be a fantastic signing for Liverpool and, with our rivalry with Man Utd in mind, it would be great to sign a player they’ve been after for a few seasons never mind how good he’d be at replacing Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Spaniard, much like PSG’s new Dutch midfielder, hardly ever gets injured and following a season that saw Liverpool blighted by a stream of injuries, that will be very attractive for Jurgen Klopp.
