Trent Alexander-Arnold is yet to sign a new deal with Liverpool.
The right back has been ever present for the Reds since he made his first team debut in 2016. Trent has gone on to become one of the best full backs in the world since; winning the Premier League, Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup under Jurgen Klopp.
With the German departing Anfield last year, the England international could also be on his way out of the club. Alexander-Arnold has been strongly linked with a move to Champions League holders Real Madrid, with multiple sources indicating he could leave this month or later in the summer.

Liverpool to miss out on star fullback

Liverpool are yet to tie their star fullback down to a new deal, and there have been reports that Alexander-Arnold wants to leave the club for a new challenge. As of the start of this year, the 26-year old is free to enter negotiations to join foreign clubs as a free agent during the summer.
Reds boss Arne Slot has said that Trent is the ‘best right back in the world’, showing that he wants Liverpool to keep the player at the club:
“Trent is the best player in the world when he is down the line. His crosses are incredible,” Slot said on an interview with Rio Ferdinand on TNT Sports.
“He is good centrally – we saw this with the England team – but he’s special on the side.”
One potential long-term replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold for the fullback role has reportedly agreed to join a Premier League side. Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode has been linked with a move to Brentford according to CaughtOffside. Kayode might be on the move for as little as €17million, a bargain fee.
Reds need to address fullback issues
With Trent on his way out of Anfield, and the worrying performances of Andrew Robertson at left back, Liverpool have to address both positions in the coming months. The Reds have been linked with Bournemouth left back Milos Kerkez, but no official contact has been made.
The positive for the Merseyside club is that Connor Bradley has shown he can step up and replace Alexander-Arnold this season. The 21-year had been trusted by Arne Slot to start in games this season, and his attacking upside is one the club would highlight when considering replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
