Liverpool are reportedly lining up a shock move ahead of this summer.
The club have lined up a number of targets as they near the off season. Major changes are expected to be made to the squad. Liverpool and Arne Slot have seen first-hand how important squad depth is to the team this campaign. The reds were knocked out of the FA Cup away to Plymouth. The fringe players failed to show up in that game, losing to one of the worst teams in the Championship.
Arne Slot has done a great job with the current set of players. However, multiple reports indicate he is unhappy with some, and he has requested for major summer signings. Especially in attack; Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez are expected to be out of the door in the coming months.

Liverpool target Real Madrid star
Liverpool are in the market for quality additions in the transfer market. Midfield and attack are said to be high priorities. Fabrizio Romano also reported that the reds might add a new defender, with the pending departures of Virgil Van Dijk and possibly Ibrahima Konate.
Real Madrid star Arda Guler might have suddenly become available according to Fichajes. The youngster has been out of favour at the Spanish side and could be looking for a way out. Two Premier League clubs are said to be the main suitors for the 19-year old. Manchester United and Liverpool have shown interest in signing the Turkish international.
The report claims that Guler is unhappy with the playing time he has received this season. Carlo Ancelotti has handed the teenager just nine starts in all competitions this season. And it looks like next season could be more of the same, as Madrid plan to buy back Nico Paz this summer. The midfielder would add more competition for places, and Guler is in danger of losing his place.
Guler would be a huge addition
Real Madrid do not understand the level of talent they have on their hands with Arda Guler. The Turkish international is one of the best young players in Europe, but has not had a chance to shine this season. Which is not his fault, Madrid have some of the best players in the world competing for attacking spots.
Liverpool could do with signing Guler. His versatility in midfield and attack would make him the perfect kind of player Arne Slot is looking to sign in the summer. The reds need to do everything possible to sign the 19-year old.
