Liverpool are facing competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in their potential pursuit of Lecce winger Patrick Dorgu.

With Mohamed Salah in the final year of his contract at Anfield, there are question marks over whether the winger will be at Liverpool next season.

The Reds have been advised to break the bank to keep the player at the club but the Merseyside giants are also preparing for the possibility of him leaving the club next summer.

Liverpool are already looking at players who could come in as a long-term replacement for Salah and several young wingers are being assessed by the club’s recruitment team.

It has been claimed that Lecce’s 19-year-old winger Dorgu has popped up on the radar of the Merseyside giants as a potential target.

But the Reds are set to face serious competition from Premier League rivals if they decide to try and sign the teenager going forward.

The Reds have their eyes on the Lecce winger but his talent has not remained a secret and several other clubs have their eyes on him.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Chelsea and Tottenham have also been keeping tabs on the teenage winger.

Dorgu has a contract until 2029 with Lecce and the Italian club do not want to lose him in the middle of the season.

However, the winger is attracting serious attention and has been grabbing the spotlight with his performances this season.

Lecce could be forced to make a decision for him soon if his suitors decided to firm up their interest and put in concrete offers for him.

Dorgu has already made 41 appearances for Lecce despite his tender years and earned two international caps for Denmark.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham will continue to keep tabs on him before taking a call on whether to make a move for him in the coming months.
