Liverpool want to extensively improve the squad over the next transfer window, but the club are also keen to offload players who are no longer part of their plans. It seems Leeds United have stepped up to get their hands on one of the fringe stars.
Arne Slot wants his stamp on the squad, and that doesn’t only mean signing the players he wants. The Liverpool manager also wants to offload several stars.
The club are prepared to back the Dutchman’s vision for the squad, and are ready to move on as many as ten players in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Liverpool have already made decisions on the futures of a few players, and one of them could be on his way to Leeds United in the coming weeks.

Leeds United swoop in for Reds defender

Daniel Farke wants several new players to improve his Leeds United squad ahead of their return to the Premier League next season.
Junior Firpo looks certain to leave on a free transfer, and according to the Daily Mail, Leeds want Tsimikas as his replacement in the summer transfer window.
Tsimikas has been deemed surplus to requirements at Liverpool as the club are almost certain to sign a new left-back in the coming weeks.
The Greek defender still has two years left on his contract, but he is not seen as someone who will be at Anfield next season.
A move to Leeds would appeal to him as he is believed to be keen on continuing in the Premier League even if he leaves Anfield this summer.
However, he is more likely to be fighting to survive relegation compared to being part of a Premier League-winning squad this season.
Leeds have also held talks with Liverpool for the signature of goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
