According to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have made the first move for him by approaching Liverpool with a concrete offer ahead of the end of the season.

It has been claimed that the Serie A giants have tabled a bid to sign him on loan with an option to buy in the upcoming transfer window.

Liverpool want a guaranteed sale and have asked Napoli to include an obligation to buy instead of an option if they want to sign Chiesa this summer.

The Italian winger now seems certain to move on from Liverpool, with Napoli expected to come in with an improved offer to convince the Reds.
