Liverpool facing off against Manchester United is always a comical affair one way or another and on Sunday, it was the Merseyside part of the North-West revelling.
Arne Slot and his players were at top form as they incisively put Erik ten Hag and his squad to the sword at Old Trafford.
The 3-0 scoreline flatters United as it could have been a lot more on another day. Hilariously, it makes the aggregate score over the last 11 games between the two sides a whopping 29-7.
With the score at 2-0 at Old Trafford, Liverpool looked strong but United were still within a shout of turning the game around.
Jamie Carragher could scarcely contain his laughter as Neville slumped back into his chair in defeat.

For Liverpool, it was another huge test of their credentials under Slot and they all passed with flying colours.
Whereas the summer was filled with concern for the first season without Jurgen Klopp, it has all quickly turned into confidence and excitement for the new era under Slot.
The football has been exquisite and the mood throughout the squad seems to have barely changed.
With the squad now away for the international break, it’s the perfect opportunity for Slot and his coaching staff to evaluate any issues before taking the Premier League by storm again in two weeks.
Liverpool also have their first game in the Champions League on the 17th of September when AC Milan host them at the historic San Siro.
