The Merseyside giants have shown ambition in the market this summer after winning the Premier League. Liverpool Football CEO Michael Edwards has been given the green light from FSG to go all in and complete a bold transfer swoop in the ongoing transfer window.
Sporting director Richard Hughes and his recruitment team have worked diligently to finalise the targets for the summer, and they have already signed Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
However, the football CEO of Liverpool is leading the negotiations with clubs to secure deals in the ongoing summer transfer window as part of the plan.
FSG brought back Michael Edwards to Liverpool last year, and he now has their signal to go all-in and get a major deal over the line in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Liverpool have been in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz since last week, but the German club have already rejected two bids from the Reds.
Wirtz has approved the move, but Leverkusen are not prepared to lower their £126.5m demand, and knocked back the £110m offer from Liverpool.
According to German daily Bild, Edwards has FSG’s green light to go up to £126.5m for Wirtz and complete the club-record purchase in the ongoing transfer window.
The Liverpool football CEO has been trying to lower the overall cost of the deal, but FSG are now keen to see him light a fire in the negotiations.
The two clubs are intent on getting an agreement done, and Wirtz is still expected to join Liverpool in the ongoing transfer window.
The midfielder is currently with the Germany squad, who are set to take on Portugal in the UEFA Nations League semi-final this week.
