Liverpool have one less exit to worry about this summer.
The reds are yet to confirm the futures of their best players with a few months left till the end of the season. Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk are all set to leave in the summer when their contracts expire. Liverpool are dealing with their negotiations as high-priority, but so far, nothing has been agreed.
Despite their exit in the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, the reds can still end their season on a high. Arne Slot could lift his first trophy in charge of the reds at Wembley this weekend. Liverpool face Newcastle in the League Cup final.
The reds also have a huge 15-point lead on top of the Premier League with less than 10 games to go.

Liverpool could lose up to three starters in June. Salah, Trent and Van Dijk are all out of contract in the next few months. As it stands, it is unlikely any of them stay at Anfield. The reds also have further problems on their hands. Ibrahima Konate, Andrew Robertson and Caomhin Kelleher are already being eyed by other clubs. The trio all have their deals expiring in 2026. Liverpool have offered Konate a new deal, and will probably hand Robertson an extension. According to reports, the reds may include Kelleher in a potential swap deal this summer.
The reds will definitely be keeping one player at Anfield ahead of next season. According to SPORT, Luis Diaz will remain at the club this summer. Diaz and his camp have been in contact with Barcelona since January, but the La Liga club’s pursuit is set to end. The Colombian has been pushing for a contract renewal at Anfield and he could get it this summer, when Liverpool’s deal with Adidas kicks in.
Sources in Colombia claim that the new Adidas deal will directly influence Diaz’s stay in England.
Should the reds renew Luis Diaz?
Sources within the club have claimed that Arne Slot is not a fan of the winger. His inconsistency infront of goal and his erratic actions on the ball have cost Liverpool in some games this year. The club are already in the market for new attackers, with a striker the priority. If Diaz does not agree to a new deal, Liverpool would be forced to sell the Colombian.
