Liverpool have all but completed one deal this summer.
This summer marks a massive opportunity for the club to revamp the squad for next season. Arne Slot had just one permanent signing this year, and managed to deliver a moderately successful campaign. The Dutch coach had Liverpool challenging for the treble at one point, but the team failed at the crucial hurdle. Back to back losses against Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle meant the reds have only one trophy to win at the end of the season.
Heading into the summer transfer window, a host of changes are expected as the team gear up to challenge for trophies next season. After a hard fought win in the Merseyside derby, Liverpool maintained their 12-point gap on top of the Premier League with eight games to go.

Liverpool target set to leave after club sorted out replacement
The reds will be looking to the future this transfer window, with the defence set to be the priority. Liverpool understand that they could potentially lose half of their backline from this season during the summer. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk could leave Anfield on free transfers.
So far the club’s plan is to mix and match. Use the current players, and buy in positions necessary. At right back, the reds will only need competition for Conor Bradley in case Trent leaves. Liverpool are very high on Bradley and are confident he can contribute even more next season. The club will also heavily rely on Jarrel Quansah. There are plans to keep him at Anfield despite recent strong interest from Newcastle United.
At left back, Liverpool are planning for Andrew Robertson’s future. The Scotland international has one year left on his contract, and the reds see him as a valuable squad member. Liverpool are in talks with Bournemouth over signing Milos Kerkez, as reported this week. The Hungarian international has been valued at £40million this summer. Talksport have indicated that the Cherries are preparing for Kerkez’s exit after they signed Argentina left-back Julio Soler as his replacement.
Milos Kerkez has been in great form this season, with two goals and five assists in the league.
