Shock club interested in Mo Salah

Mohamed Salah has continued to produce the goods on the pitch for Liverpool but off it, the negotiations over a new deal have not gone anywhere yet.

Salah starred again on Saturday when he scored in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Brighton, which catapulted them back to the summit of the Premier League table.

He is fifth on the list of Liverpool’s all-time top scorer and will be considered as a club legend long after his playing days get over but there is no guarantee that he will be at Anfield next season.

The forward is said to be keen on staying but wants Liverpool to offer him a respectable three-year deal before he can agree to sign on the dotted lines with the club

Al Hilal are amongst the teams who are interested in taking him to Saudi Arabia but the attacker would prefer to play in another top league if he leaves Liverpool.

Salah has received a shock offer

Salah’s contract situation has made several clubs wake up at the opportunity of getting their hands on the forward next summer on a free transfer.

Saudi sides are prepared to offer him silly money to move to the country and become the face of the Saudi Pro League alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

With the player keen on staying in Europe if he leaves Liverpool, some big-name European teams are likely to register their interest in him sooner rather than later.

However, according to Liverpool insider Max LFC, the forward has received a shock offer to move to the United States next summer.

Can you name the club Liverpool signed these players from?

It has been claimed that an unnamed MLS side have offered him a contract that would see him earn a lot more than what he is getting at Liverpool.

MLS teams have been known for splashing out to sign stars from European football with Lionel Messi now plying his trade in the United States.

Getting Salah would be a massive capture for the MLS who have been trying to expand it’s popularity in the US as well as across the world.

It is unclear whether the Egpytian would be receptive to a move to the US if he leaves Liverpool at the end of the season.
