Mo Salah signed a new two-year contract with Liverpool last month and is set to remain a big part of the team under Arne Slot. However, the rumour of his departure has not gone away, and it seems Saudi Arabia is trying to convince him to move to the Middle East.
Liverpool fans breathed a huge sigh of relief last month after Mo Salah signed a new two-year contract with the club following months of brinkmanship and negotiations between his camp and the club.
The Reds are delighted that the Egyptian superstar has extended his stay and are not worried about the forward dropping his levels in the next couple of seasons.
However, it appears the Saudi Pro League has not stopped trying to woo the forward, and are still pushing to convince the attacker to move to the Middle East soon.

Liverpool are still worried about losing Mo Salah

Al-Ahli are among the Saudi Pro League clubs who have been trying to sign Salah over the last couple of seasons and would have pounced had he not signed a new deal.
However, they are undeterred by the forward’s new deal, and Al-Ahli president Khaled Al-Eissa indicated that it is only a matter of time before Salah moves to Saudi Arabia.
“We are interested in all international players. Mohamed Salah is definitely at the top of this list, and we are happy to have him in Saudi Arabia”, Khaled Al-Eissa was quoted as saying by Arabi21.
“God willing, at the right time, he will be with one of the Saudi clubs.”
