According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Liverpool could be the next destination for Sanches but Lille will only let him leave for €42million.
Still in need of a Gini Wijnaldum replacement, Jurgen Klopp’s transfer plans are set to go to the wire this summer as there are exactly 21 days left to sign his successor.
Lille will let him leave for €42million
Mohamed Toubache-Ter, who Sport Witness says is a ‘reliable journalist’, claims the 23-year-old ‘could leave for Liverpool’.

The Paris-based writer writes that the Lille board intends to ‘release’ Sanches this summer after his impressive displays for the Ligue 1 outfit on their route to winning the title last season.
Liverpool are one of a number of sides that have been linked with the Portuguese midfielder but with three weeks until Deadline Day, it remains to be seen if the Reds will pay €42million (£35.5m) to sign him.
Sanches a good fit but injuries a concern
As mentioned several times on this website already, it is so obvious that Sanches would make an incredible midfielder under Jurgen Klopp’s guidance.

The German turned Wijnaldum, a talented attacking midfielder relegated with Newcastle United in 2016, into one of the best no.8s in the world.
Together they won the Champions League and the Premier League and had they stayed together for a couple of years longer they might have had the chance to achieve more but now Gini gets the chance to play with Neymar, Mbappe and Neymar.
Sanches is just 23 so there is the chance that he outgrows his injuries but paying €42million (£35.5m) for a player with a long history of niggling injuries when you already have Keita and Chamberlain could be considered irresponsible.

I can understand the temptation but when you really get forensic and consider the impact that having a player as fit as Wijnaldum had on Liverpool and what the opposite effect of having someone like Sanches might have, it’s scary to see how the tables might turn on the Reds.
If by some miracle he can avoid injury, he could be an incredible player for Liverpool but as a huge fan of Naby Keita, I do worry how Sanches’ arrival would impact the Guinean’s game time just as he’s beginning to overcome his own injury problems.
