Rangers have reportedly informed Spanish clubs that midfielder Nico Raskin carries a £20 million price tag amid widespread interest this summer.
The Belgian international enhanced his reputation significantly after impressing during Belgium’s run to the World Cup quarter-final.
Italian clubs Atalanta and Bologna have also emerged as potential suitors, adding to the growing queue of clubs pursuing the Ibrox midfielder.
Rangers are said to have already rejected a £14 million approach from Hull, signalling their intent to hold firm on their valuation of the player.
Spanish trio Real Betis, Villarreal, and Sevilla have all been linked, with Fichajes reporting the latter are currently monitoring the situation closely.
Raskin still has two years remaining on his Ibrox contract, giving Rangers leverage to demand maximum value for the ex-Standard Liege star.
Manager Derek McInnes already boasts a strong midfield pool, with free agents Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin having already joined the club this window.
Serbian youngster Vanja Dragojevic is also closing in on a move to Rangers, with the club upping their offer to £4.6 million plus a 10 percent sell-on clause.
Record Sport understands Ibrox chiefs are confident they will secure the 20-year-old midfield anchor man, who is considered one of Partizan’s prized assets.
Partizan’s willingness to sell is being driven by their own financial difficulties, with president Rasim Ljajić openly acknowledging the club’s cash problems last week.
Ljajić told Arena Sport: “Now we don’t have money, but I hope we will get it through sales. We have offers that we can accept immediately, they are not bad.”
He added: “We had visits from club directors who showed interest in our players, and we are waiting for more intensive discussions to begin and may not get full value.”
The Partizan president also revealed the club has ambitions of its own, saying: “We have ten players who are our wishes, but have to wait. I hope this transfer window will be successful.”
McInnes has suggested further arrivals could come before Rangers’ upcoming pre-season friendly against St-Etienne next week.
Speaking from the club’s Spanish training camp, McInnes said: “The club has done brilliant work at this moment in time to try and bring in the additions that we clearly needed.”
He continued: “We’re still looking to try and get a couple of things done ahead of the St-Etienne game.”
McInnes also expressed confidence in the squad’s physical development, saying they are considerably further ahead fitness-wise than when pre-season began.
