The former Ajax and Bayern Munich star has earned high praise from former Premier League striker Agbonlahor who believes he is excelling under Slot.
He believes Gravenberch has more or less been Liverpool’s player of the season and has all the attributes to be absolutely one of the best in the world.
Agbonlahor stressed that given his form, the Dutchman has been one of the top three midfielders this season.
“I think apart from one game, he has been Man of the Match all season and has been outstanding”, the former hitman said on talkSPORT.
“He didn’t get much game time under Klopp but this season under Slot, he has had a lot of game time.
“He has got strength, he has got aggression, he has got pace, he has got skill, he has got running with the ball, he is a unit and got the size for set-pieces as well.
“For me, he is an outstanding midfielder and I am putting him there as one of the top three midfielders so far this season.
“He is [an] outstanding talent and just shows how strong Liverpool are in that department.”
