'Come to LFC': These fans notice £100m 'untouchable' enjoys watching Liverpool content

Liverpool fans have hijacked Jude Bellingham's tweet about Steven Gerrard, urging him to join the club but it's out of his hands with Borussia Dortmund's valuation of the teenager standing at £100million.

There was a lot of Steven Gerrard propaganda on Twitter this last week, with Liverpool fans keen to remind the world of football just how special the Scouser was as he is constantly disrespected by rival fans on social media.

It's understandable. He didn't have the talent around him that Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard did and yet he matched them and, in my opinion, he arguably outshone them when you consider he was playing with the likes of Andy Carroll for large parts of his career.

It was the type of pass that Liverpool fans learned to expect and was in fact normalised but in all honesty, that type of awareness and technique is not normal and worthy of constant praise even years after his retirement.

Interestingly enough, Bellingham reacted to a video that was shared in April 2020 which begs the question: why is the Dortmund youngster searching for Liverpool content and sharing it on his page?

The likely answer is that it was probably retweeted and found it's way onto his timeline but Liverpool fans have hijacked his tweet, urging him to join the Anfield side this summer in spite of Dortmund's valuation of the teenager.

There are loads more tweets about the 17-year-old (!) moving to Anfield but given that Dortmund, who consider him to be an 'untouchable would demand £100million for his services, it seems unlikely that he would be on his way out of the Bundesliga club.

The real story here is appreciating Steven Gerrard's talent.

In fact, the last time I write about Jude Bellingham (27 Apr 2021 at 13:35), I compared him to Gerrard.

I wrote: "While he’s not the exact same, as I believe this breed of player is dead, Bellingham reminds me of Steven Gerrard due to his power and thrust from midfield not to mention that he is already physically superior to some fully matured players."

When he eventually decides to move on from Dortmund as it seems most top players do, Liverpool need to do everything they can to sign him as he is going all the way to the very top of English football.
